RAILING REPAIRS

After years of being exposed to the elements, this set of lakeside stairs and railings were falling apart and unsafe. New pressure treated wood and matching stain was used to rebuild the new stairs and railings and have them seamlessly match.

SHED TO A SAUNA

An old shed that was ready to be torn down, found a new identity when it was fixed up and converted into a luxurious sauna.  Old cedar slats were recovered from the exterior, cleaned up and repurposed to finish some of the interior walls.

PRIVACY FENCE & GATE

Providing privacy was key to this project.  Removal of an old metal gate and replacing it with a much taller pressure treated lumber fence and gate allowed the homeowners privacy when enjoying their backyard.  A small flagstone walkway was later added to finish the project.

COMPOSITE DECK PROJECT

Kitchener, ON.  Fall 2020

Built to provide access from the house to the lower exposed aggregate patio, and a perfect BBQ space; this 14' x 8' deck is built with a pressure treated lumber frame and is finished with composite decking, fascia, and skirting.  A new aluminum railing finishes this maintenance free deck

GARAGE LOFT PROJECT

Stratford, ON.  Winter 2020

When homeowners have an incredible unfinished space and decide to finish it because it is just too cool not to.  This space started as a dusty storage space above a detached garage.  By adding a new entrance door, a new staircase, insulation, drywall, T&G pine ceiling, lighting, an electric baseboard heater, engineered hardwood flooring, and finished trim; this space is now a blank canvas ready to be used as a studio, home office, separate relaxing space - whatever the homeowners want.

WALKOUT BACKYARD DECK

This new deck was originally designed to be half the size and cover an old existing concrete patio and and muddy area of the backyard.  The project grew to become a huge 50' x 12' deck that extended across the entire back of the house.

TILE BACKSPLASH

A new glass mosaic tile backsplash adds interest and sophistication to both sides of this galley kitchen

PLASTER WALL REPAIR

A farm house dining room wall with a large crack and bulging plaster required a little TLC.  The damaged plaster was removed, and new drywall was installed, finished and painted to seemlessly blend the old with the new.

WALLPAPERING A BEDROOM

Time to update this bedroom.  Removal of old wallpaper, a few repairs to some small cracks in the sloped ceiling and and fresh coat of paint; as well as the installation of new wallpaper, and the bedroom feels fresh and clean.
